About the NoiseAware Dashboard

We've updated our Dashboard! Whether you're a brand new NoiseAware customer, or you've been using our product for years, this is your guide to all of the features of our new Dashboard:

The new dashboard can be found at dashboard.noiseaware.io. If you had a login for our old dashboard, your same email and password will work on the new dashboard. If you are new to NoiseAware, you should complete your first hardware purchase to create an account.



The left-hand side of the new dashboard has links to all of the core features of the product. In order these links are:

  1. Dashboard (default launch screen)
  2. Properties
    1. Property Detail
  3. Sensors
    1. Sensor Detail
  4. Events
  5. Add property
  6. Store

There are also secondary links in the top-left and top-right corners of the dashboard. Clicking on your name in the top-right will take you to your Account Settings, and clicking on the Organization name in the top-left will take you to the Administrator Tools (Admin only).

There is also a permanent search bar that has been added at the top of the screen to help you find and navigate to properties quickly.



The Dashboard screen (default launch screen) is a new feature designed to support live monitoring of NoiseAware devices. If your company has staff in charge of managing noise, we recommend they keep this screen open in a tab of their browser while on duty. The Dashboard screen has two features: Current noise risks and Resolved noise risks.

Current noise risks shows you any property currently in alert, meaning that noise levels detected by at least one of the sensors installed at the property have exceeded the allowable limit set in your thresholds. Once a property goes into alert, every sensor must report noise under its prescribed threshold for a period of 15 minutes. Clicking on any property in this table will open up the property's detail view, accessing the noise graph and guest messaging features.

Resolved noise risks shows you any property that has recently resolved its alert status by every sensor reporting noise under its prescribed threshold for a period of 15 minutes. NoiseAware customers who have successfully resolved a noise risk should expect to see the property move from the Current noise risks section to the Resolved noise risks section.

Clicking on a row on the Dashboard screen will open the Property Detail panel with additional information.



The Properties screen is a complete list of every property you've added to NoiseAware. If you are using Property Tags to help organize your properties, you can see them on this list. If we are importing reservation information from an integrated PMS or if you've entered a reservation manually you will also find current booking status in this list.

The Filter Menu is found in the top-right of many screens, and can help you manage a larger number of properties by selecting only a subsection of properties to display in this list.


Property Detail

Clicking on any property from the Properties screen will open the Property Detail panel. The Property Detail panel has the following tabs across the top:

  1. Graph
  2. Guest
  3. Thresholds
  4. Events
  5. Settings

Graph shows the Noise Risk Score reported by every sensor installed at this property. Time and calendar selectors as well as left/right arrows help you to navigate through time to inspect historical noise levels at the property. The sensor legend shows the names of the sensors installed at the property, and clicking on the sensor name will toggle that sensor on the graph.

Guest has information on the current booking (if there is one) and a tool to manually add or edit a reservation. This is also where you can find messaging features to send SMS messages to your guest directly from the dashboard (SMS messages sent through the NoiseAware dashboard come from the standard NoiseAware alert phone number).

Thresholds shows the current threshold settings for your sensors at this property. The new NoiseAware dashboard supports multiple thresholds per sensor by hour of day. When sensors are first set up they will use our recommended threshold settings based on your property type and sensitivity - however you can always visit this screen to adjust any of your threshold settings.

Events shows you a list of events that have occurred at this property such as noise risks, disconnections, or guest messaging. You can also add notes to the events here for other NoiseAware users to see.

Settings allows you to edit basic property information or delete your property. Please note that changing your property type here will not change the thresholds of existing sensors, but will be used to apply defaults to any new sensors added to the property.



The Sensors screen is designed to help NoiseAware users with maintenance and support of NoiseAware devices. From here you can find the current high-level status of each NoiseAware sensor to quickly find offline sensors or sensors with low battery.


Sensor Detail

Clicking on any sensor from the Sensors screen will open the Sensor Detail panel. The Sensor Detail panel features an image of the installation location (if you chose to upload a picture during sensor setup), more detail on the sensor's current status for technical support, and an events list for this sensor that will show recent noise, tamper, or disconnection events. You can also rename or delete the sensor from here.



The Events screen shows a list of recent events across your account and can be helpful for looking for past events or for auditing the actions of users on your account. Clicking on an event will bring up more information depending on the event type.


Add property

The Add property screen give you a form to enter property information into NoiseAware. Remember that your inputs in the Risk information section will determine the default thresholds applied to sensors at this property. Wifi information can be stored to make future sensor setups easier. And create or add Property tags here to use for filtering later.

The Store is where you can buy additional NoiseAware hardware or property subscriptions. If you have purchased from this store before, we securely store your information to make future checkouts easier and to help us manage your account. Any user on your account can complete purchases, but billing information is not shared across accounts. If you would like to change any information on your account, don't hesitate to chat with one of our account managers.


Account settings

The Account Settings screen is reached by clicking on your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Here you can find settings specific to your user account, such as editing or adding email addresses or phone numbers for alert distribution, or setting preferences to receive alerts only for specific properties.


Administrator tools

The Administrator Tools screen is reached by clicking on your organization's name in the top-left corner of the dashboard. Only admin users have access to this menu. Here you can find settings that apply to your entire account, such as adding or editing users. Click on any user in the Users table to edit their information or set their permission level. Users with limited permissions will only see properties that they are permitted to see when they log in to their account. Soon you will also be able to find billing information across your account, and set up third-party integrations from the Administrator Tools screen.
