NoiseAware Gen 2 Sensor

NoiseAware Gen 2 sensors are manufacturer guaranteed for 6 months. This warranty is provided by the company, NoiseAware. In specific cases of failure, NoiseAware will replace or repair your noise sensors.

The specific issues covered are:

  • Electrical issues
  • Microphone failures

What is not covered by the warranty:

  • Water Damage
  • Physical damage
  • Loss or theft

NoiseAware is not responsible for any consequential damage caused by guests, legal action, or any other third party. This warranty is specific to using the product as directed. NoiseAware Gen 2 sensors should be screwed in to an indoor electrical outlet with -65 RSSI or better signal strength to a 2.4gHz, 802.11 internet router. NoiseAware tracks sustained noise, and is not designed to measure or prevent any instances of noise that are shorter than 3 minutes. NoiseAware Gen 2 sensors are designed to measure noise within 400 square feet of the installation location. The sensor should be in the same room as the monitored activity zone, and will not accurately measure noise outside of its line of sight.

To begin the warranty process, please contact us directly at support@noiseaware.io and be sure to include a photograph of where the sensor is installed that shows the sensor and the surrounding environment. Should we discover the damage is covered by warranty, the sensor will be replaced or repaired. Should the damage be outside of NoiseAware’s coverage, we will still offer a 50% reduced price on a new or refurbished Gen 3 sensor. In any event, you must return the damaged sensor to:

NoiseAware Gen 3 Indoor Sensors are manufacturer guaranteed for 1 year. This warranty is provided by the company, NoiseAware. In specific cases of failure, NoiseAware will replace or repair your noise sensors.

  • Electrical issues
  • Microphone failures

What is not covered by the warranty:

  • Water Damage

  • Loss or theft

NoiseAware Gen 3 Outdoor Sensors are manufacturer guaranteed for 1 year. This warranty is provided by the company, NoiseAware. In specific cases of failure, NoiseAware will replace or repair your noise sensors.

The specific issues covered are:

  • Electrical issues
  • Microphone failures

What is not covered by the warranty:

  • Physical damage
  • Loss or theft

NoiseAware is not responsible for any consequential damage caused by guests, legal action, or any other third party. This warranty is specific to using the product as directed. NoiseAware Gen 3 outdoor sensors should be mounted in a position pointed directly at the monitored activity zone. They should not be installed with the microphone hole facing upward. NoiseAware tracks sustained noise, and is not designed to measure or prevent any instances of noise that are shorter than 3 minutes. NoiseAware Gen 3 outdoor sensors are designed to measure noise within a 15-foot cone in the direction of the microphone's orientation. The sensor cannot accurately measure noise outside of its line of sight.
